FAQ for Connected Club
Connected Club is a little different from anything you’ve ordered before.
Here’s everything you need to know before your mystery arrives.
-
Connected Club is a one-time mystery-by-mail experience for two people in two different places. Each player receives different clues and information, then you get on a phone or video call and solve the mystery together. Neither person has everything they need on their own.
-
Our first case, Leonardo & the Mystery of Flight, is designed for one adult + one child, best for ages 6–12. Younger players may need a little extra help. The adult doesn’t need to be a parent — grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends, and other special grown-ups are all welcome.
-
Nope. You can have both mysteries mailed to the same address and hand one to your partner yourself. This works well for a parent taking one on a trip, a grandparent you’ll be visiting, or anyone who simply wants both mysteries delivered together.
-
At checkout, the regular Shipping Address is where Player 1’s mystery will go. If you choose separate delivery, you’ll also enter Player 2’s full mailing address in the Connected Club Delivery Details section. If both mysteries are going to the same place, simply choose that option and type SAME ADDRESS in the Player 2 delivery box.
-
Yes. The $29.95 price includes shipping to the U.S., whether the two mysteries are sent separately or together to one address.
-
Don’t open the mystery case yet! Each one is sealed with instructions to wait until your partner is on the line. Once both players have theirs, choose a time to call each other and begin together.
-
Plan for about 45–60 minutes. There’s no timer, though, so you can take your time, talk, laugh, and linger over the clues as much as you want.
-
No. A regular phone call works just fine. Video can be fun, but the mystery is designed so you can solve it by talking, describing what you see, and sharing information with each other.
-
You’ll encounter a mix of visual clues, codes, observation puzzles, hands-on pieces, and information that only makes sense when you compare what each person has. The puzzles are designed to feel playful rather than like homework.
-
Yes — quietly. Each mystery is built around something real, such as history, science, nature, invention, or discovery. You’ll also encounter a new vocabulary word along the way, but there’s no quiz and no schoolwork attached..
-
Connection is built into the experience. Between clues, you’ll encounter simple questions and moments that give you something interesting to talk about while you play. The goal isn’t forced heart-to-heart conversation — it’s making it easier to laugh, share, notice things about each other, and spend a memorable hour together.
-
Absolutely. You can send one mystery directly to the person you want to play with, or have both sent to you so you can give the second one yourself. The purchaser receives the order confirmation, so if you want your partner to know something is coming, you can forward it to them.
-
Not automatically right now. The order confirmation goes to the person who placed the order. If you’d like your partner to know their mystery is coming, simply forward the confirmation or send them a quick heads-up.
-
Connected Club is designed as a one-time experience because you’ll uncover the answers as you play. The materials can certainly be kept afterward, but the mystery itself is intended to be solved once.
-
Yes. Leonardo & the Mystery of Flight is Case 01, with more Connected Club mysteries planned. You can join the email list to be the first to know when the next one arrives.

FAQ for Multitudes
-
In order to allow ourselves enough time to print and deliver our monthly letters on the first, new orders must be received by the 20th. Any orders received after that date will be for the next month's subscription. So if you place an order on May 21st, the letter that you receive will not be June 1st; it will be July 1st.
-
We start working on the delivery mechanism for our orders on the 20th of every month. Therefore, if you need to change your address, please do so by the 25th of that month. To change the address please email us at hello@multitudesbymail.com
-
In order to cancel your subscription for the following month or put a subscription on hold, please do so by the 25th of the month. After the 25th we will have already printed our materials and started putting our envelopes together. To cancel or pause your subscription, please email us at hello@multitudesbymail.com
-
Each post is mailed on the first of the month. The expectation is that it is received by the 10th of the month. But remember, they call it snail mail for a reason;) The goal is that it comes within the month.
-
Love it! Creative people and fresh ideas is the heart of our business. If you have an item, artist, or writer you think belongs in a mailing, please send your suggestion to hello@multitudesbymail.com
-
We include the cutest, tiny little announcement inside of the first envelope your gift recipient receives. The announcement includes a one-sentence note from the gift giver. In addition to this there is an email option that you can send to the recipient.
-
Simple rule: If we can't keep it to ourselves, it's a candidate. We look for art and words worth holding—the kind you'd screenshot to remember but wish you could actually touch. Each envelope is curated like a tiny museum: human-made work chosen to live with you longer than a moment. Sometimes we collaborate with artists and writers creating today. Sometimes we rediscover beautiful pieces from the past. Everything is licensed or shared with permission. Everything is real.
-
It's mail you actually look forward to. Most of what lands in your mailbox is bills, ads, and things that go straight to recycling. Snail mail — real mail, slow mail, mail with a stamp — used to mean something. A letter from a person. Something chosen for you. We're bringing that back, with a twist. Once a month, an envelope arrives with human-made things inside: art, words, and small beauties curated to outlast the scroll. No algorithm chose them. No notification announces them. Just a quiet arrival — a letter from another human, made by human hands, meant to be held. It's a small rebellion against a world that moves too fast to remember. Because not everything should move at the speed of a swipe.
-
If you haven't received your letter by the 25th of the month, please email us at hello@multitudesbymail.com. We will respond as promptly as possible and correct the situation.
